| China has now become super shipbuilding country,but still not good at shipbuilding.At present,we are losing the advantage of cheap labor gradually.Therefore,in order to improve competitiveness,we must improve efficiency and reduce the cost."IHOP"(Integrated Hull construction,Outfitting and Paint)shipbuilding concept has gradually become the main ideal in modern shipbuilding field.So painting is playing a more and more important role.This paper first introduce company and project,then describe coating process and components of project cost.Next analyze the situation of cost management and further point out the problem by taking a 9400 TEU container ship as an example.Select suitable methods and cost management tools according characteristics of the project.During optimize cost management process,first establish the standard of budget.Paper selects typical blocks and areas as an example to make cost budget,especially using area to calculate labor cost instead of hours.In the process of cost control,use the value engineering principle to establish a reasonable mathematical model,calculate and analysis which step can be optimized to improve in-put and out-put ratio,then make some control measures.Project cost management can be normalized and all staff can participate.Information system also can be used in project cost management.Finally list the effects when cost control measures are taken before and after by analyzing typical blocks and areas.The results show that cost can be controlled and theory of value engineering method is feasible and effective in searching some steps which can be improved. |
