| Bridge expansion joint is an important part of the bridge structure.Most of it is directly subjected to the vehicle loads and environmental impacts repeatedly.Therefore,the bridge expansion jiont is easily damaged.Once the bridge expansion joint is damaged,it directly affects the health of the bridge structures and driving performance.In order to facilitate the replacement and maintenance of the bridge expansion joint,this paper proposes an new bridge expansion joint(Elastomeric in Metal Runners).EMR concrete materials have the characteristics of rapid setting and strength for quick repair and replacement.This paper mainly focuses on the mechanical properties of EMR concrete materials and the mechanical properties of the bonding surface between it and ordinary concrete.The main research contents are as follows.The EMR concrete was subjected to a cubic compression test,a tensile test,an elastic modulus compression test,and a bending test.The mechanical indexes of EMR concrete is obtained.In order to study the bond performance between EMR concrete and ordinary concrete,a diagonal shear test and a bond test were carried out.The failure mechanism of the bonding surface was studied and analyzed.The working principle of the EMR bridge expansion joint is studied.The relationship between the installation width and the expansion and contraction of the bridge expansion joint is analyzed,and the structural dimensions of the bridge expansion joint are preliminarily designed.By modeling the four dimensional models and performing quasi-static analysis,the force of the bonding interface during braking of the vehicle is simulated through various load conditions.And the corresponding safety factor is given.Dynamic analysis is carried out to simulate the stress of the bonding interface during normal driving of the car.It is concluded that the greater the vehicle speed,the smaller the tensile stress at the bonding interface of the EMR bridge expansion joint.Numerical results show that the structure and dimensions of the EMR bridge expansion joint meet the engineering requirements.Research and analysis is done on the construction process and application of EMR bridge expansion joint,and suggestions are given. |
