A Study On The Elderly-oriented Reconstruction Design Of Traditional Dwellings In Historical Villages Of Pingnan County

In recent years,the problem of population aging in China has been aggravating,especially in rural areas.Because of its long history of construction,traditional rural dwellings can neither meet the needs of villagers who want to have modern living conditions,nor meet the actual needs of the elderly and empty nesting phenomenon in contemporary rural areas.But the traditional rural residential buildings have precious historical value,cultural value,academic value and economic value.Therefore,the aging renovation design of rural traditional dwellings can not only solve the living problems of the rural elderly,but also protect the traditional dwellings,but also provide the basic conditions for the activation and development of ancient villages.It is one of the best ways to realize the strategy of Rural Revitalization and has the value of practice and promotion.This paper takes the famous historical and cultural villages in Pingnan County as the research scope,and takes the village as the main research object.The main reasons are as follows: there are a large number of well-preserved traditional dwellings in Ming and Qing Dynasties in the village,which have a complete variety and obvious regional characteristics,covering the space type,architectural characteristics and architectural forms of traditional dwellings in Pingnan County,and it is comprehensive and representative.The number of elderly samples is abundant,which makes the research accurate and feasible.In the course of the research,architecture is taken as the main discipline support,combined with other interdisciplinary supplements,including gerontology,sociology,physiology,psychology and so on,focusing on the study of the well-preserved traditional dwellings in Jixia village,where villagers and the elderly live.Firstly,by analyzing the regional characteristics of the village,combining the needs of the elderly and the status quo of traditional dwellings,the author divides the traditional dwellings into the interior space and the exterior space of the dwellings,and studies the main function space,auxiliary function space,courtyard space,corridor space and subsidiary space.Secondly,combined with the field research results of Jixia Village,the status quo of the above-mentioned various spaces is analyzed in detail,and the functions and needs of different spaces are understood.It also analyses its retrofittability,and sums up the problems in the use and development of different spaces,environmental quality and equipment conditions,streamline and space experience.Finally,the paper puts forward specific reform strategies in view of the above problems,in order to improve the traditional dwellings in Jixia Village not only conform to the modern lifestyle,but also adapt to the elderly at home for the aged,so as to gradually achieve the goal of rejuvenating the countryside by improving the living environment of the traditional dwellings in Jixia Village.
