| Under the background of globalization,modern industrialized building materials are all the rage in the world,and native architecture has been gradually forgotten by people and even become a symbol of poverty in many countries.In today’s world of industrialized building materials,it may be hard for us to imagine that more than one third of the world’s population still lives in houses built with raw soil,and at least 60 million people in China live in houses built with raw soil.It was not until the 21 st century that the excessive exploitation of nature by human without restraint led to global warming and ecological deterioration,and people began to pay attention to environmental protection.China also raised the ecological security to the height of national strategy,so that raw soil materials once again became the focus of people’s attention,and also became a hot spot in the field of architectural research.Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,more than half of the collapsed or damaged farm houses in every major earthquake in arid areas are raw soil buildings.The problem of poor durability is mainly manifested in the physical properties of building materials,such as damp proof,water resistant,corrosion resistant and mothproof,which are much lower than those of conventional building materials.These inherent defects make it difficult for traditional adobe buildings to meet the needs of rural living in the new era.As a result,villagers are more inclined to choose brick and concrete materials when building new houses.Under the background of government-led "new rural" construction,raw soil buildings are gradually marginalized and become a symbol of backwardness and poverty.From the perspective of ecological security,the construction of raw soil is in line with the national strategic goal of low-carbon emission reduction.40% of China’s carbon emissions come from the real estate industry,which accounts for 8% of the world’s carbon emissions.China’s development has been greatly restricted due to the constraint of developed countries due to excessive carbon emission.Nowadays,carbon emission right is the right to development,so China’s ecological security strategy has been elevated to the height of national strategy.There are some problemsin the application of adobe technology in rural areas of our country.But in our country,because the study of adobe technology started late,although in recent years has been achieved in adobe rich research achievements,and through these efforts to build the actual project also won the domestic and foreign architectural awards,but the transformation and application of research results in the actual instance or a few in the history of the new rural construction,in the promotion of new technology of adobe also do also is far from enough.The research object of this paper is the adobe technology of civil architecture.Firstly,it discusses the building characteristics of adobe buildings in arid areas;secondly,it makes a field survey of Tuyugou village in Turpan area,and tries to analyze the factors that restrict the development of adobe technology of native dwellings in this area;thirdly,it introduces four countries which have made outstanding achievements in the field of Adobe technology,and discusses the advanced Adobe technology development experience that is more in line with their national conditions;lastly,the article discusses the development experience of adobe technology in accordance with their national conditions.This paper will focus on the current situation and technical characteristics of new adobe dwellings built in Yingmaili Village,Turpan City,by the research team of the Modern Native Soil Laboratory of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology.At the same time,I have carried out comparative experiments on the heat transfer coefficient of the exterior wall between the project and the local adobe dwellings built in different periods in winter.It is concluded that the thermal storage performance of the envelope constructed by adobe brick with new construction method is slightly worse than that of traditional Adobe dwellings.The conclusion of this paper is based on the experimental data,put forward the method of improvement and optimization of Adobe technology,and summarize the experience of contemporary Adobe technology that can be used for reference in the construction of raw earth buildings in Turpan area,so as to provide reference and basis for the construction of large-scale new adobe dwellings in the future. |
