As an important life and production resource,China's water resources are characterized by uneven distribution between the north and the south.Pumping stations,as part of water conservancy projects,are crucial in solving many problems faced by today's society,such as floods,droughts,and deteriorating water resources.The status,especially the large and medium-sized pumping stations,bears the heavy responsibility of flood control,power generation,irrigation,cross-basin water supply and improvement of downstream navigation conditions.Therefore,it is necessary to establish an efficient and stable pump station information monitoring and early warning system to ensure the smooth operation of the pumping station.Taking the secondary pumping station of Liu Laojian Station Management Station as an example,this paper first introduces the development process of large and medium-sized pumping station engineering and pumping station information monitoring and early warning technology at home and abroad,and secondly,the monitoring object and basic principle of pumping station monitoring system.The paper analyzes the basic parameters and operation requirements of the key structure of the main pump and main motor of Liu Laojian pumping station,and puts forward the specific requirements for the monitoring system.According to the test and evaluation of the monitoring and early warning system of Liu Laojian pumping station,the targeted improvement suggestions and directions were put forward,and the modules and functions of the pumping station monitoring and early warning system were studied and analyzed,combined with the environmental changes of Liu Laojian pumping station and the development requirements,the concept of smart water conservancy,and the development direction of Liu Laojian pumping station information monitoring and early warning system.
