Research On Landscape Planning And Design Of Characteristic Town Portal Based On Regional Features

In the process of rapid development of urbanization,the region needs representative marks.As a window to display regional image and development,small town portal is not only a symbol of space definition,but also the fastest place access to understand the local regional nature,topography,historical context and cultural folklore.Therefore,the quality of landscape of characteristic small town portal directly affects the overall image of the region.With the rapid development of the portal landscape of characteristic towns,there are also some drawbacks: firstly,the combination of design and site is not deep enough,the lack of local flavor,the lack of unique charm of similarities and differences;secondly,copying the construction mode of foreign countries,without considering the integration with the surrounding environment,there is no systematic inheritance and development of local culture;thirdly,the construction of characteristic towns is great.The role of portal landscape in site development has been reduced,and it has not been well developed and constructed as a regional window.Starting from the regional characteristics,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the related concepts of the portal landscape of characteristic small towns,grasps and extracts the regional characteristics and the elements of the portal landscape from the breadth and depth,as well as the role and significance of the regional characteristics in the construction of the portal landscape of characteristic small towns.On the basis of summing up the relevant theories and practices of the portal landscape of characteristic towns,taking the planning and design of the portal area of Qihong Town in Huizhou as an example,drawing lessons from the relevant research results at home and abroad,from the perspective of regional characteristics,integrating the local natural and human elements of Huizhou,discussing the construction of small towns’ style,regional elements and the utilization of site resources,and summing up the problems based on location.Relevant methods and steps of landscape planning and design for characteristic town portal with domain characteristics.Firstly,we should grasp the characteristics of the natural and humanistic landscape of the site portal and take the region as the main theme of the design;sort out the elements of the natural and humanistic landscape in the portal;analyze the formation and development process of the portal landscape,and integrate the natural and humanistic elements into the specific landscape elements to present a brand-new appearance in another way;so as to provide direction for the planning and design of the portal landscape;In the end,we can systematically inherit the cultural connotation of the regional characteristics and make full use of the landscape pattern of the site.The research aims to use the theory of modern landscape planning and design to constructively think about the design of the landscape space of the small town portal and draw a conclusion: to create the landscape characteristics adapted to local conditions on the basis of respecting nature,while continuing the historical context to build the humanistic landscape with site memory,so as to show the regional personality and create the landscape environment in which people and nature live in harmony.Based on the summary of theoretical research,this paper makes analysis and Research on the issues of strengthening the overall unity of urban image,continuing the historical context of the town,developing the entrance landscape of the town with urban characteristics,and improving the economic and cultural level of the town.
