First,this paper followed the development model of automotive-grade product "V" model,analyzed the need of battery system design,determined the functions and requirements of the battery system,and then designed and analyzed the system gradually to research and develop the electric bus battery system.In order to increase the capacity of the battery system,this paper used the dual battery pack parallel mode.The system has the function of the charging and discharging,data acquisition,battery status evaluation,security protection,etc.This paper designed the overall plan of the battery system,and then,designed the system in module:maked the battery pack and the electrical principles of the high voltage box were designed separately.Considering the safety of the bus,the lithium iron phosphate square battery was used for the battery pack.Becaused of the external parallel mode,the components of the high voltage box needed to be redesigned.This paper also added a dual charging mode,which simultaneously charged the battery pack through two charging interfaces.The design hardware and software of the battery management system was the another main work of this paper.The system included acquisition functions of voltage,current,temperature and other,estimation functions of battery remaining power and other control functions such as equalization control,thermal management,and fault judgment processing in the function design.Finally,to prove the validity of the battery system,this paper debugged the system through the experiments of battery acquisition,charge and discharge test,etc.
