High-voltage Control Of Electric Vehicle Battery Pack

Now the social developes,increasingly prominent energy issues and environmental protection issues. Hybird Elecrtic Vehicle with low emissions,low noise advantages are getting growing attention by the world. As the fast development of the electric vehicle, the requirement to the battery technology is higher and higher.so the management of the battery working state is also more and more important.According to the characteristic of HEV's structure and high voltage circuit,in this Paper MH-Ni batteries is researehed, by careful analysis of MH-Ni batteries work PrineiPles, the battery voltage, current and temperature characteristies. Then a high voltage control method has been raised, which is the combination of experience and integral calculation.The main work has done in the paper is: re-charging the batteries,to measure the creepage situation of exterior of the battery, measuring the insulation of the battery interior,and measuring the battery's failure.So,by re-charging the exterior load,it can protect the batteries from creepage and short circuit , while it also reduce the failure of battery box and extend the use time of battery module;By measuring the insulation of the battery interior,it can prevent unsafe accident ,which effect the system's normal work because of the low insulation resistance ;With battery diagnosis system it is possible to predict battery failure earlier, thus the faultless working time of battery pack can be inereased.The rule of high voltage control is ensuring safety.It is the most important task to judge the conditions of safety.In order to study the safe conditions,we pre-charge external load and monitor internal insulation stae of pile based on choosed BMS( battery management system), to achieve safetyguard function of BMS (battery management system) .
