Comprehensive Evaluation On Development Scheme Of Changbo Hydropower Station At Upper Reaches Of Jinsha River

The development scheme is a very important task in the feasibility study stage of water resources and hydropower projects.The rationality of the development scheme directly affects the benefit of the project,even the success of the project.The project layout,power generation benefit,environmental impacts and other aspects involved in the development of Changbo Hydropower Station at the upper reaches of Jinsha River are compared and evaluated in detail.The main achievements of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the necessity for the construction of Changbo Hydropower Station is illustrated by analyzing the factors such as the national electricity market,the social demand,the promotion of economic development in Tibet,and the energy saving and emission reduction.Secondly,four preliminary development plans are proposed according to the physical geography,climate,social economy,and watershed planning of the project site.Thirdly,comprehensive demonstration and comparison of four primary schemes are made in terms of geological conditions,environmental impact,investment calculation and project economy.Finally,the second development scheme is chosen.
