On The Aesthetics Of ‘Living Water' In Landscape Design

In the traditional culture of China,the "water" was one of the most common and important cultural symbols.In different time and space,the "Spiritual water" contained a variety of philosophical or spiritual metaphor Lyric.So,the traditional art had a strong desire to perform through the application of the water element and tried to express all kinds of consciousness or psychological appeal.Unique cultural ideals of the nation were established at the same time.Accordingly,the water was not only the source of the Chinese civilization,and it was also the beginning of the national technological design and environmental art.The main task of this paper was to clarify the category and carding process of "Spiritual water",which was a design concept and aesthetic concept in the history of the times.There was a comparative analysis of the different phenomena of the design elements of the use of water in the West and East.It shows the historical connotation value and practical guiding significance of "Spiritual water" design aesthetics.Finally,it revealed the creative consciousness and development direction of Chinese contemporary environmental art design in the process of inheritance and transformation.
