Nowadays,Wenchuang products must not only have market economic benefits,but also have the concept of sustainable development and the concept of “continuing human civilization”.China's grass-dyed culture has a long history and mature technology.It is a kind of folk non-legacy,but it is not fully used in modern design,and the brand image is not prominent.Taking the brand as an example,the author tries to establish a series of cultural and creative products based on the traditional grass-dyed culture,and expects the integration of traditional grass dyeing and modern design.During the postgraduate study,he followed the instructor to carry out research on the design of the work of the grass and dyed,and participated in the handicraft design project.He successively went to Shenzhen,Nantong,Hangzhou,Shanghai,Yunnan and other places for field research and market analysis.He has participated in such topics as the "2018 International Plant Dyeing Art Exhibition" and the "University Art Exhibition and Handicraft Workshop" and other competitions.I deeply feel that the grass and wood dyeing not only has the traditional cultural heritage,but also has important value in the design of cultural and creative products.It conforms to the concept of modern people's pursuit of health,green,nature,simplicity,humanities and other cultural and creative products.The above is integrated into the thesis,and the design and development of a sacred wood dyeing product.This paper is divided into five chapters,which are discussed from the meaning of the topic,the overview of the grass dyeing,the design positioning concept,and the product design.Through the analysis of the status quo of domestic and foreign cultural and creative products,and research on the types of domestic grass-dyed products,brand image,traditional materials and crafts,it paves the way for the design of a product.Then it conducts practical research on the types,uses andhistorical developments,art forms and bearing materials of Chinese traditional grass dyeing.The aim is to design and develop the artistic elements of the grass dyeing used in the creation of a product,and to highlight the design concept of the brand“fusion”.In this paper,by mastering the traditional techniques of grass-dyed dyeing and using the design techniques,we will develop a product that is woven into the wood-dyed products.Combining traditional hand-design features,grass-dyed features,material types,integrated grass dyeing characteristics and hand-designed elements,different cultural and creative products are derived.Through the design and application of grass-dyed folk art materials,the traditional handicrafts are brought into life,the inheritance value of intangible culture is enhanced,and the traditional grass-dyed culture is connected with the times.It is also hoped to bring more design elements to traditional craftsmen.
