Design And Practice Of Daily Necessities Based On The Characteristics Of Taohua Paper

Materials play a more and more important role in the field of product design.Handmade paper,as a sustainable handmade material for thousands of years,has its necessity and urgency to spread.Firstly,the author takes Taohua paper as the research object of this topic,collating and analyzing the basic status of Taohua paper.Secondly,The flexibility and water repellency of Taohua paper were thoroughly analyzed,and the antibacterial properties of Taohua paper were excavated and confirmed.Thirdly,further research based on the material characteristics of Taohua paper,the three major design methods were developed,Which were crossing and breakthroughing the boundary of different materials,following and innovating the products forming methods,reproducting and extracting from the traditional material.At the same time,the excellent cases at home and abroad are analyzed for reference.What's more,the surface treatment,fabric transformation and molding methods of Tuahua Paper were deeply explored.Finally,according to the exploration of the material characteristics and the design method with Taohua paper,the portable trip series and home furnishing series were put forward by using the paper cloth fabric and the mouding method,in order to show the new design direction and possibility of the Taohua paper material in the product.Creating innovative products that are closed to the modern life and making traditional materials to be sustainable.
