With the progress of our society and the continuous improvement of economic level,the development of the construction industry by leaps and bounds,the stock of existing buildings is increasing day by day.Among them,a large part of existing buildings have many problems,such as high energy consumption,imperfect use functions,poor earthquake resistance,and low suitability,energy saving and comfort of the buildings.If these existing buildings are demolished,not only a large amount of construction waste will be generated,but also a huge waste of resources and environmental pollution will be caused.It goes against the requirement of constructing economical society and maintaining sustainable development strategy.Therefore,it is in line with China's national conditions to reinforce and transform the existing urban buildings.This paper adopts the field survey method and questionnaire survey method to investigate the number,completion date,structure form and use nature of existing buildings in some cities of China.Through analysis,it is understood that the existing buildings in China are not only large in size but also have various problems.In order to solve the problems existing in the existing buildings and meet people's requirements for the normal use of buildings at the present stage,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the reinforcement and transformation of the existing masonry buildings.(1)according to the characteristics of existing masonry buildings,effective reinforcement methods should be adopted in the principles of safety,reliability,advanced technology,economy,rationality and aesthetics in the reinforcement and reconstruction of masonry buildings.Different types of buildings should be considered in the selection of reinforcement schemes.For example,the reinforcement of historical buildings should follow the repair principle of "do not change the original state,repair the old as old".This paper makes a detailed analysis of masonry building reinforcement methods in terms of construction period,cost and construction technology through concrete examples.(2)in view of the insufficient seismic capacity of the wall of a primary and secondary school building,fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was adopted to optimize the reinforcement scheme.First,the evaluation index set is established,then the judgment matrix is established by using fuzzy mathematics principle,and then the reinforcement method with the highest cost performance is optimized by using fuzzy linear transformation principle and maximum membership principle.(3)a strategic study on the reinforcement and transformation of existing buildings is carried out by referring to fuzzy comprehensive evaluation with specific examples,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the reinforcement and transformation of existing buildings.Through analysis and discussion,a set of practical and feasible methods are summarized to make it better serve the reinforcement and transformation engineering,avoid the blindness of existing masonry buildings in the reinforcement and transformation,which is conducive to speeding up the construction progress and saving the project cost.
