The Application Of Poetic Thinking In Contemporary Chinese Museum Space Design

With the popularity of the internationalism,problems of formulaization and similarity have been found in architectures.Although fruitful achievements have been made in architectural arts in western countries,China is still not likely to be in accordance with that architectural style.Under the background of the rapid development of economy,people have ignored the importance of humanism in the life when they are pursuing efficiency with the rationality running counter to the perception.As the carrier of urban historical context and regional culture,a museum is the repository of poetic dwelling.Based on the current background,this paper expounds the influence of architectural poetic space based on the deficiencies of contemporary museum space construction.It makes an analogical study of the creative thinking of poetry and the way to construct the museum space,trying to explore the possible poetic nature of museum space from the perspective of Chinese classical poetry.To start with,this paper analyzes the history and current situation of Chinese museums,making a conclusion on the problems that exist in contemporary Chinese museums in terms of the combination of museums and cities and the unity of spaces and themes.In the next,the similarities between the spatial characteristics of museums and poems are compared.From the perspective of traditional Chinese aesthetics,it seeks similarity in the thinking path of poetry creation and design of museums' architectural space and explores the breakthrough in the study of museums' poetic space,so as to demonstrate the feasibility of the application of poetic thinking in museum space design.And then,successful cases of the poetic thinking being applied into the design of contemporary museum space are analyzed combining theory to practice,providing support of practical cases for theoretical study.By exploring commonalities between ancient Chinese poetry and the method to create indoor and outdoor spaces in the new museum of Suzhou Museum,this paper makes a conclusion on the common points between them,summarizes the methods of creating the poetic space in contemporary Chinese museums,based on which some reflections on the current situation of contemporary Chinese museums are also put forward.At last,this paper applies the poetic thinking to the interior space design of the new museum of Jiexiu.Through the analysis on the local human environment and regional culture of Jiexiu and poetic thinking mode,a set of interior space design scheme which conforms to the historical and cultural characteristics of Jiexiu is concluded.
