Energy storage technology is the key technology of smart grid.It is of great significance to integrate large-scale new energy in smart grid.Compressed air energy storage(CAES)technology can reach the same capacity as pumped storage station(PSS)at present,with characteristics of large system capacity,low construction and operation cost,long lifetime,unlimited energy storage period and site selection,and has wide applicability and application prospect.According to the thermodynamic principle analysis,isothermal compressed air energy storage(I-CAES)technology has higher efficiency in theory.Therefore,a hydraulic compressed air energy storage(H-CAES)system is proposed based on the principle of I-CAES and the basic principle of PSS.The liquidmatic piston with internal temperature control for isothermal process and the adaptive hydraulic potential energy transfer(AHPET)device for pressure matching are introduced in detail.The constant power control of H-CAES strategy system based on hydraulic servo control is studied.The feasibility of operation strategy is verified by simulation and physical experiments.In this paper,the H-CAES,where air is used as energy storage medium and water is used as gas temperature control medium and power generation medium of liquid equipment,is studied including basic principles,system structures,key equipment and operation characteristics.The power adjustment operation control strategy suitable for the power adjustable demand of the power storage plant in the power system is introduced.Furthermore,a constant power operation control strategy,which is suitable for stable operation of H-CAES is proposed.According to the constant power operation control strategy and.the basic model of H-CAES system is constructed on AMESim simulation platform,where the second-order closed-loop hydraulic servo control of the hydraulic system is used to control the operation process of the hydraulic piston to ensure the constant power input and output of the system.The simulation results verify the feasibility of the proposed constant power operation control strategy.On this basis,a real physical experiment platform is built,which is controlled by PLC programming.The experimental results verifiy the realizability of the constant power operation control strategy.In addition,the experimental data are collected and the real effects of each subsystems are analyzed.Finally,the effieiency of energy storage and power generation and comprehensive efficiency of the platform are representive calculated.
