With the aggravation of energy crisis and environmental problems,developing renewable energy and improving energy efficiency have become the common concern of all countries in the world.Uncertainty and randomness of new energy output bring difficulties to power grid dispatching.Traditional power grid is difficult to manage the access of many new energy sources,so virtual power plant comes into being at the historic moment.Virtual power plant can integrate distributed power supply,energy storage and load with centralized management,and realize new energy grid-connected management through internal multi-source complementary coordination control.Presently,the research on virtual power plants mainly focuses on participating in electricity market transaction and optimizing dispatching algorithm as a whole,however,there is no research on unified practical management of virtual power plants.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the practical management mechanism for virtual power plants in regional power grids,and to absorb and manage new energy sources connected to regional power grids.Based on the research of virtual power plants at home and abroad,this paper proposes the establishment of AGC auxiliary control system for regional power grid,which is used to realize the establishment and unified management of multiple virtual power plants in regional power grid.The overall structure and specific function modules of AGC auxiliary control system for regional power grid are designed.On this basis,the organizational framework of each management module of virtual power plant is discussed concretely,and the framework and process of virtual power plant participating in electricity market transactions are designed.Based on the analysis of traditional multi-time scale scheduling,a multi-time scale scheduling mechanism for virtual power plants under the framework of AGC auxiliary control system is proposed.At the same time,the basic framework and implementation process of day-ahead dispatching,intra-day rolling scheduling,daily real-time scheduling and AGC dispatching of virtual power plants are analyzed and designed in detail.On this basis,the design process of AGC auxiliary control system for regional power grid is simulated by taking the virtual power plant of wind power and hydropower aggregation as an example.The AGC auxiliary control system of regional power grid provides a platform for the creation and management of virtual power plants,and realizes the"personalized" control of different types of virtual power plants.It can effectively solve the management difficulties caused by the access of distributed generation to power grid.So,this study makes a beneficial attempt to explore the practical management of virtual power plants.
