College campuses generally cover a large area,have a long history of construction,and have good site conditions,which provide a relatively stable environment for vegetation growth.Compared with the general urban green space,the University green space has the characteristics of high green coverage,abundant tree species and dominant tree system.Because of the different history and greening construction methods of different universities,their plant ecological benefits and the value of the overall service function of the campus will be different.Taking Anhui University of Hefei(Longhe Road Campus,Gongyuan Campus),Hefei University of Technology(South Campus,Feicuihu Campus)and Anhui Agricultural University as the research objects,this paper constructs the evaluation system of the ecological service function of university campus green space,and uses Citygreen model and willingness survey method(CVM)to evaluate five university campus green space ecological services in an intuitive monetary form.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Evaluation System of Eco-service Function of Campus Green Space SystemComparing the evaluation factors of campus green space service function comprehensively,it is found that climate regulation produces value,weakens the value of rainstorm runoff produces value,carbon sequestration and oxygen release produces value,social value,purifying atmospheric environment produces value and recreational value.In the campus green space ecosystem,the three service functions of climate regulation,reducing rainstorm runoff and carbon sequestration and oxygen release account for more than 90%of the total value,which occupies an absolute advantage in the value composition.The proportion of other indicators is less than 10%.This shows that the main ecological service functions of campus green space are climate regulation,reducing rainstorm runoff and carbon sequestration and oxygen release.(2)Analysis of Campus Green Space SystemIn this survey,75 samples were selected,2557 trees and 1261 shrubs were measured,totaling 3808 trees.Among them,the largest number of trees were Platanus acerifolia 538,Cinnmomum camphora 415,Magnolia grandiflora 308,and the largest number of shrubs were Osmanthus fragrans 315,respectively.Photinia serrulata 237 plants,Pittosporum tobira 135 plants,the abundance of which were 24%,18%,11%,respectively;Ophiopogon japonicus or Cynodon dactylon were the most common ground cover plants.College green space rate is about 40%,green rate is about 45%,built in the 1950s or so campus,per capita green space area is less than 20 m2,built in the early part of this century campus,per capita green space area is more than 20 m2.The proportion of coniferous-broad-leaved mixed forest and evergreen deciduous broad-leaved forest in community types is relatively large,and the vertical structure is mostly in the "tree-shrub-grass(ground cover)"configuration mode,which is reasonable and has strong ecological benefits.(3)Ecological Benefit Analysis of Campus Green Space PlantsBased on Citygreen model analysis and equivalent substitution method,the ecological benefits of green plants in five university campuses on purifying atmosphere,carbon sequestration and oxygen release,and weakening stonn runoff are compared and analyzed.The results show that plants produce ecological benefits in South Campus of Hefei University of Technology,Anhui Agricultural University,Longhe Road Campus of Anhui University,Feicuihu Campus of Hefei University of Technology,Anhui University of Technology and Anhui University of Technology.Yuan Campus,built in the 1950s in three colleges and universities,has a long time to build.It has large size of trees,long age,good plant health and high forest coverage.The ecological benefits of plants are higher than those of the two campuses built in the early part of this century.(4)Analysis of recreational value and social value of campus green space systemThe recreational value and social value of campus green space system are estimated by CVM.The research shows that people’s willingness to pay for social value is higher than recreational value as a whole.At the same time,the recreational value of campus green space built at the beginning of this century is higher than that of campus built in 1950s.The research finds that universities reflect the educational strength of the country and the overall level of science and education in the city,and people pay more attention to them,and their social value is higher than the recreational value;the overall recreational value of campus green space is low and lower than that of the old campus,mainly due to the shortage of recreational green space and inadequate recreational facilities in some campuses due to the shortage of land and lack of post-maintenance.As a result,the recreational value of campus green space is low.(5)The Value of Eco-service Function of Campus Green Space SystemComparing the value of the green space service function of five universities,we can find that the value of the green space system in Longhe Road Campus of Anhui University is the lowest,which is 6649031 yuan/a.The value of Gongyuan Campus of Anhui University is the highest,which is 1368760 yuan/a.The total value of Anhui Agricultural University is 1946296 yuan/a.The total value of Feicuihu Campus of Hefei University of Technology is 10 036 yuan/a.Hefei University of Technology has the highest value.The total value of Xuenan Campus is 9953392/a.The ecological service function of five universities totals 52442845 yuan/a,accounting for 0.01 per thousand of Hefei’s GDP in 2018.The total value of ecological service function is closely related to the area of campus green space,the ecological benefits of campus green space plants and people’s willingness to pay.In the early stage of campus planning and construction,we can consider all aspects comprehensively and optimize the layout of campus to ensure that the value of campus green space ecosystem service function is maximized.
