Mega-frame structures with vibration absorption structure is a new type of structure system,which can solve the problem of the traditional TMD mass block being over weight and transfer the energy dissipation part from the main frame to the isolation bearing by setting the lead rubber isolation bearing between the main frame and the secondary frame to achieve the effect of shock absorption control.In order to evaluate the damping effect and seismic performance of mega frame structures with vibration absorbers,the following work is mainly carried out in this paper:(1)A scale model with geometric similarity ratio of 1:25 is designed and made.The lead rubber isolation bearing at the bottom of the vibration absorption structure is designed in a replaceable form so that two connection modes of lead rubber isolation bearing and rigid bearings can be adopted between the substructure and the main structure on the top floor of the mega-frame to form two experimental models for comparison,which are called the single damping model and the rigid bearing model(non-damping model).(2)The shaking table test was carried out with eleven seismic waves with ground motion records and one artificial seismic wave input for the two test models.In order to evaluate the effect of vibration absorber structure,the acceleration response and displacement response of each main frame layer,the acceleration response and displacement response of the top layer of the vibration absorber structure and the displacement response of the isolation layer are analyzed and compared.(3)On the basis of the experimental research,the finite element models of single damping structure and rigid bearing structure are established by ETABS,which is a finite element analysis software.In order to verify the reliability of the established analysis model,the elastoplastic dynamic time-history analysis under 12 mesa seismic waves is carried out for the two models and compared with the experimental results.In addition,the analysis results of equivalent linear model and bilinear model are compared,and some suggestions are given.Also,some suggestions are put forward on the results of comparative analysis.
