Study On The Characteristics And Protection Of Memory Places In Suo Yuan Village Of Jinhua City

Memory places in villages,such as temples,ancestral temples and squares,contain abundant collective memories and carry a large amount of rural culture.They still have important significance in today's society.However,the protection of memory places in villages is not taken seriously and the mechanism is not perfect.With the development of urbanization and the advancement of rural construction,many memory places in villages have been damaged to varying degrees.Villagers communicate with these places frequently and have deep feelings.The destruction of these places will inevitably affect the villagers' sense of identity and belonging.Not only that,most of the citizens in the city come from the countryside,and eventually will return to these villages.The destruction and loss of village memory places make their nostalgia nowhere to be laid.What is the memory place? What are the influencing factors of memory place? What elements do memory places contain and what characteristics do these elements have? What measures should be taken to protect memory place? In order to solve these problems,this paper uses field investigation and induction and deduction method to study and analyze the characteristics of memory place in the case site,Suo Yuan Village,Jinhua City,and puts forward the strategies and suggestions for the protection of memory place in villages.There are six chapters in this paper: Chapter one is the elaboration of the topic,which arouses the thinking about the protection of memory places through the observation and investigation of daily life;Chapter two is the theoretical research,which explores the related concepts of memory place,the relationship between memory places and cultural inheritance,and the classification of memory places,which provides the theoretical basis for the analysis of memory place;Chapter three is the case study.Based on the field investigation of the village of Suo Yuan,this paper explores the influencing factors of memory places,and analyses the causes of the formation of various memory places in Suo Yuan village.Chapter IV focuses on the analysis of the characteristics and cultural load of memory places in Suo Yuan village.Chapter V,on the basis of the previous research,puts forward the strategies of protection and regeneration of memory places in Suo Yuan village.Chapter VI is the conclusion,including the conclusion of the whole article,research deficiencies and prospects.The main conclusions are as follows: the influencing factors of memory places include memorizers,material entity and spatial structure,activities and events,village culture and place function;memory places of Suo Yuan village can be divided into five types: ancestral temple,traditional dwelling house,traditional street and lane,waterfront space and village square;The influencing factors of memory places are memorizers,physical entity and spatial structure,activities and events,village culture,place function,etc.The main elements of memory place are different,this paper extracts the material and spatial elements of all kinds of memory places.In activities,the activities mentioned by memory places in Suo Yuan Village can be divided into Festival activities,recreational activities,learning activities,leisure activities,and so on.The importance of these activities to memory places decreases in turn;the importance of the types of activities in various memory places and the importance of the types of activities in different memory places are also discussed.The frequency of activities showed a downward trend,and the vitality of the place was declining.Meaning,people of all ages had different preferences for various places of memory.Deep place memory often occurred in the early stage of memory.Among all places of memory,people had the deepest memory of Yan's ancestral temple.Based on this,from the three perspectives of material entity protection,vitality promotion and meaning protection,this paper puts forward specific protection strategies and suggestions for the existing problems of memory place in Suo Yuan Village.
