| With the continuous development of society,the recognition of history is gradually improving.Classical gardens,as one of the cream of Chinese traditional culture,are widely valued by all circles.Among them,the Ming Dynasty garden is an important period of development in the history of Chinese ancient gardens.Studying Jingjiang Wangfu Garden in Ming Dynasty is not only to bring this classical garden with profound historical and cultural connotations back to the public’s horizon,but also to study the practical activities of Ming Dynasty garden construction techniques.Jingjiang Wangfu Garden in Guilin is the most complete preserved mansion in Ming Dynasty.This paper takes Jingjiang Wangfu Garden in Ming Dynasty as the research object,combs the clues through textual research,analyses the process of Jingjiang Wangfu Garden from the beginning of Ming Dynasty to the final decline,and draws the gardening characteristics and artistic techniques of Wangfu Garden.The main research results are as follows:(1)Through the investigation and textual research of the literature,the process of Jingjiang Wangfu Garden in Ming Dynasty from prosperity to decline was analyzed.The change of Wangfu Garden and the development of Ming Dynasty society showed a unified trend.Different times background led to different gardening activities.Based on a large number of historical data,this paper analyses the construction process of Wangfu Garden in Ming Dynasty from three aspects:historical background,gardening activities and general situation of Wangfu Garden.According to the characteristics of different periods,the gardening process of Wangfu Garden can be divided into four periods:the early Ming Dynasty-the simple period of Wangfu Garden(1372-1490),the middle and late Ming Dynasty-the prosperous period of Wangfu Garden(1490-1592).In the late Ming Dynasty,the decline of Wangfu Garden(1592-1652)and the restoration period of Wangfu Garden(1652-now)from the Qing Dynasty to the present provide a historical basis for further analysis of the gardening art of Wangfu Garden in the Ming Dynasty.(2)Based on the analysis of gardening process,the gardening art of Wangfu Garden in Ming Dynasty was summarized.Through quantitative analysis,the crescent pool in Wangfu Backyard accounted for 22%of the total area of the backyard,and Duxiufeng accounted for 18%of the total area of the backyard,which was very close to what Jicheng called "Opener Three".Duxiufeng is a pillar of the sky.The crescent pool nearby neutralizes the height of the mountain body by increasing its area.At the same time,it makes the central axis balance between left and right.Wangfu Houyuan and Maodetang summarize the characteristics of gardens by restoring the information of gardens in literature.(3)Based on the above analysis,this paper summarizes the gardening techniques of Jingjiang Wangfu Garden in Ming Dynasty:making good use of terrain,Duxiu Peak is located on the west side of the central axis of Wangfu Garden,the gardener skillfully uses the crescent pool to surround the mountain body,and accurately calculates the volume of the crescent pool to achieve the effect of harmony between mountains and waters,thus forming a balanced situation on both sides of the central axis of Wangfu Garden.Duxiufeng’s scenery from different angles is borrowed as scenery;natural interest,although the Wangfu Garden is a royal garden,in layout,it does not follow too many stereotypes,free and flexible,showing natural interest;clear function,the functional zoning of different buildings in the Wangfu Garden is clear,reading,Buddha ritual,rest,play,banquet and drink are the basis for building space and organizing line;good use of plants;Landscape,Wangfu Garden makes good use of plant implication in plant allocation,expressing the artistic conception of gardening,or directly taking flowers and trees as the theme of landscaping. |
