In the material selection of automotive connectors design,the main used materials are PBT and PA66 which have superior performance.PBT and PA66 material's performance can't satisfy the certain requirements if they don't do any modification.The reinforced modification with the glass-fiber is a common way to modify plastics.The PBT and PA66 material modified with the glass fiber can improve the physical properties,meantimes,they can improve the stability of the products.In this paper,some data in a series of experiments would be collected.And some laws affecting the sample would be obtained.In order to meet the requirements of the stability for automobile connectors in severe environment,the samples would be measured under the simulating conditions.Put two group of samples under the constant temperature and moisture,then compare the dimension and property changes with time.The result would be related with the processing parameters in making samples...In this paper,we obtained the laws that the mechanical properties were improved greatly,the water absorption was weakened,but the dimension was unstable as the glass fiber increased in PA66.Meantimes,there was great influence on PBT injection pressure with the increasing content of the glass-fiber.The obtained laws can be a important value for the theory,the connector design,the process parameter setting and reducing costs.
