The gear is a very important transmission part in the mechanical transmission system.The working environment of the gear is generally bad,which makes it extremely easy to malfunction,which leads to the shutdown of the whole mechanical equipment,even causing huge economic losses and serious consequences such as human casualties.With the development of science and technology,the fault diagnosis methods of mechanical equipment are also changing with each passing day.In order to better monitor and identify gear faults,the detection and analysis methods of gear faults need to be continuously researched and explored.Fiber Bragg Grating technology is a new test technology developed in recent years.Therefore,this paper applies fiber Bragg grating testing technology to gear fault diagnosis,and verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of its application through test analysis.Firstly,the vibration mechanism and vibration characteristics of the gear meshing work and the common methods of fault diagnosis are analyzed.The working principle of the fiber grating sensing technology and the sensing characteristics of the fiber grating are dissertated.According to the needs of gear fault diagnosis,the gear fault diagnosis test bench was built.The vibration signal is collected on the test bench by the vibration sensor on the three working condition of the gear,that is,gear breaking,wear and normal working conditions,the time domain waveform analysis is used to judge the vibration signal characteristics of gears under different working conditions.Then the amplitude spectrum,power spectrum,cepstrum spectrum and envelope spectrum in frequency domain analysis are used to study the components and characteristics of gear vibration signals.Through comparative analysis,we can clearly know the ability and characteristics of various spectrum analysis methods to identify and diagnose different faults of gears.?Secondly,according to the principle of fiber grating technology,The fiber grating sensor is arranged at the root of the gear to realize the real-time detection of the strain at the tooth root of each working condition at different speeds.And through the optical fiber slip ring to complete the signal transmission from the rotating body in the gearbox to the demodulator outside the gearbox,Then the stress and strain of different measuring points of gears is analyzed by the theory of fiber coupled mode,and the variation characteristics of strain at various roots of different faults at different speeds are analyzed.Finally,the variation of stress and strain at the tooth root of the gear obtained by fiber Bragg grating test is compared and analyzed,and the actual strain change characteristics of gear broken teeth,wear and normal working conditions are obtained.The results show that the conclusions obtained through experimental testing and analysis are basically consistent with the actual fault setting.The intrinsic correlationbetween the vibration characteristics of the gear fault and the stress-strain characteristics is explored.Realization of Fiber Bragg Grating Sensing Technology in Fault Diagnosis of Rotating Machinery Gears,It also verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of fiber Bragg grating sensing technology in gear fault diagnosis.Enriched the gear fault diagnosis and monitoring method,providing new ideas for the subsequent research work.
