Working as an important travel destination for urban residents,it occupies an important proportion in the travel structure,which is one of the main reasons for the peak traffic congestion in cities.With the diversification of urban passenger transportation modes,there is a competitive and cooperative relationship between different modes in different regions and different periods.The essence of competition and cooperation development is the result of the difference in the choice of urban residents' travel modes.The difference in the choice of residents' working travel modes is the basis for the formation of urban passenger transport structure.The structure of urban passenger transport can be optimized by inducing the choice of working travel modes of urban residents,so as to maximize the benefits of urban passenger transport system and optimize its operation.The paper takes the urban residents' work behavior as the starting point of the study,and divides the urban passenger transportation modes into public transportation and private transportation,and the characteristics of each transport mode are compared and analyzed.Defined the concept of urban residents' work trips,and divide working travel behavior into three categories:basic work trip,compound stationary work trip and compound random type.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of residents' working travel distance,travel time and travel expenses,the residents work and travel,the selection factors are classified into internal factors and external factors.Through the questionnaire survey,the travel data of the individual travel,family attributes and travel attributes of the residents in Harbin were obtained.Study and analyze the characteristics of working trip and working travel choice of residents,based on the analysis of the basic theory of residents' travel,a multinomial Logistic regression analysis model is introduced to establish the prediction model of residents' working travel choice,compare and analyze the prediction results and actual survey data,it is concluded that the prediction accuracy of the model is good.Introducing the theory of competition and cooperation,defining the co-opetition relationship between public transportation and private transportation based on residents' choice of working travel modes,and classifies the co-opetition relationship between urban public transportation and private transportation into three types:seizing resources,network co-opetition and attracting passenger flow.Put forward the principle and function of competition and cooperation between public transportation and private transportation,according to the principle that residents choose the most effective way to work,based on direct economic cost,time cost and comfort cost,the general travel expenses of different modes of transportation are constructed.The absolute difference between the probability of residents choosing public transportation and private transportation for work trip is defined as the concurrence intensity.This paper analyzes the development status of public transportation and private transportation in Harbin from the aspects of infrastructure and passenger flow.Based on the survey data of residents' work travel and the model of public transportation and private transportation,the public transportation and private transportation are analyzed under travel time and travel distance.The co-opetition relationship proposes a coordinated development strategy for public transportation and private transportation in Harbin.
