Analysis On The Social Motive Force Of Shipbuilding Technology In The Ming Dynasty

The shipbuilding technology of the Ming Dynasty is the peak of the development of ancient shipbuilding technology in China.During this period,a number of monographs describing shipbuilding technology was produced.This thesis selects the two books Nanchuan Record and Longjiang Shipyard Record as the research object.Combined with the social and historical background at that time,the research on the development of shipbuilding technology was carried out.The research approach of this paper is to examine the technology in the context of social development.Technology development has its own internal logic,but the interaction between technology and society also has specific rules.Through the investigation of Ming Dynasty shipbuilding technology as an example,the law of technology and social interaction is discussed.A certain technology corresponds to a certain social form.If the social conditions were not mature at that time,then the specific technology would not be developed.Engels said that once society had a demand for a certain technology,its driving force would be even greater than that of ten universities.The main content of the first part of this thesis is to introduce the development background and foundation of Ming Dynasty shipbuilding technology,and then make a general analysis and judgment on the development of shipbuilding technology in the Ming Dynasty.Then introduces and analyzes the two books of Nanchuan Record and Longjiang Shipyard Record,furthermore,we have a clearer understanding of shipbuilding technology and management in Ming dynasty.The second part summarizes the characteristics of Ming Dynasty shipbuilding technology and points out that the improvement of shipbuilding technology in the Ming Dynasty is precisely because the development of these technologies had supported the splendid shipbuilding industry of the Ming Dynasty.The third part analyzes the influence of the shipbuilding industry in the Ming Dynasty.The development of the Ming Dynasty society formed a demand for theshipbuilding industry,which stimulated the development of the shipbuilding industry and the progress of shipbuilding technology.On the basis of the above analysis,the fourth part analyzes the interaction between shipbuilding technology and society in the Ming Dynasty,and discusses the law of technology and social interaction from three aspects.In short,the relationship between technology and society presents a specific pattern.The demand of society drives the advancement of technology.The specific state of technology is the product of specific social's conditions at that time.The development of technology is not only the improvement on the basis of pre-technology,but also the result of social requirements,only technologies that meet the needs of society can develop.
