Alarm system is a collection of software and hardware that integrates the functions of detecting,recording and transmitting the state of process variables.Configuration alarms can inform operators of any faults in industrial operation in time to take corresponding measures.However,in actual production and operation,operators often receive far more errors and nuisance alarls than effective alanns.For hydraulic turbine governing process,safe and steady running is the key factor affecting the security,efficiency and economy of the power unit and even the power grid systel.Therefore,it is necessary to effectively monitor and diagnose the faults and restrain the phenomenon of "alarm flooding" in alarm system.Aiming at the alarm optimization techniques of hydraulic turbine governing system,this thesis analyses the main causations resulting in "alarm flood"phenomenon:Firstly,the hydro-turbine governing system is a typical dynamic non-minimum phase system,and its nonlinear characteristics and the relevance between variables make it difficult to diagnose the alarm origin;secondly,Secondly,the unreasonable threshold setting or design methods in alarm system cause the performance degradation of fault detection in the alarm system.Starting from the fault essence of hydraulic turbine governing system,this paper simulates the non-linear model of hydraulic turbine governing system firstly,introduces the gate opening fault of electro-hydraulic servo system and controller fault as the subject investigated,and establishes the dynamic kernel principal component analysis model of operating data under normal conditions.A series of studies are earied out on the basis of this model,such as the diagnosis of alarm origin,the improvement of alarm design method and the optimization of alarm threshold,which constitute a systematic framework to solve the problem of "alarm flood" in hydraulic turbine speed regulating system.The simulation results show that the fault diagnosis method can diagnose the faults of the two turbine governing systems mentioned in this paper,moreover it is also general to other fault cases,which plays an important role in ensuring hydropower units run on the safe side.
