In recent years, with the popularization of clean energy, solar energy has received more and more attention from various countries. The photovoltaic system is the main device for collecting and converting solar energy, which is mainly composed of solar photovoltaic panels and brackets. Its own structure determines the main load of the photovoltaic system is the wind load on the photovoltaic panel. It is critical to the wind-resistant design of photovoltaic systems that mastering the distribution of wind loads on photovoltaic panels. At present, the wind-resistant design of the PV system support is mainly based on the ” Design Specification for Photovoltaic Power Stations ”,and the body shape coefficient of the wind load on the ground and roof supports is 1.3.However,studies by relevant scholars at home and abroad have shown that the design of wind load for photovoltaic panels is not perfect according to the provisions of this code, there are errors in estimating the wind load of PV systems with different installation methods. In some cases, the wind load is estimated to be too large or too small.Further analysis of the wind loads on the photovoltaic panels is necessary. This paper summarizes the wind load analysis of the existing literature on photovoltaic arrays. The computational fluid dynamics method is used to analysis the wind load of the photovoltaic system with different installation methods by ANSYS software CFD module considering the influence of obstructions.Firstly, the correctness of the method is verified by comparison with the existing wind tunnel test results, and then ground-mounted and roof-mounted photovoltaic system are performs simulation calculations under various working conditions. For the ground-mounted photovoltaic arrays, this paper analyzes the influence of the upstream wall, the height of the wall, the distance between the wall and the photovoltaic panel on the wind load characteristics of the photovoltaic panels;for the roof-mounted photovoltaic arrays, this paper analyzes the influence of building height, the distance between the blocking building and the building with photovoltaic panels on the wind load characteristics of the photovoltaic panels;the results of this paper can provide reference for the wind-resistant design of photovoltaic panels.
