Wind load is one of the main environmental loads of ships.The study of wind load on ships is of great significance to reduce the occurrence of wind accidents and improve the safety and economy of ships navigation.This paper takes bulk carrier as the research object to conduct numerical simulation to study the flow field characteristics and response of ship under different wind conditions.The main contents are as follows:1.Numerical simulation of ship wind load and comparative analysis of wind load calculation methods.The wind load and flow field characteristics of ships with different wind classes and wind directions are analyzed.The fluid variation domains are different under different wind speeds in the ship and near the ship.By applying the wind load calculation specification of classification Society and comparing it with CFD method,it is concluded that the standard method is conservative for the wind load calculation of bulk carriers in this paper,and the numerical simulation method has certain advantages for the analysis of flow field characteristics.2.Analysis of ship wind load characteristics under pulsating wind.In this paper,the simulation accuracy of harmonic synthesis method is slightly better than that of AR linear filtering method.The numerical simulation of ship wind load at different time and direction under pulsating wind shows that,different from the average wind field,wind speed at different time before and after will affect the pulsating wind field,and ship force under pulsating wind presents obvious pulsating characteristics.When the wind speed increases,the wake after the wind speed passes through the hull is longer,the basin is wider,the vortices are farther away from the hull,the number of vortices is more,and the flow field outlet pressure is less than the flow field inlet pressure.The wind speed decreases at the opposite time.3.Research on ship motion response under different wind conditions based on AQWA.In this paper,the damping of 90° roll is corrected,and the RAO peak value near the natural period of roll is about 4°/m,which is reasonable.Based on the potential flow theory and considering the wind load coefficient,the six-degree-of-freedom motion response data of ships under different sea conditions are extracted and analyzed.
