As an emerging clean energy source,LNG is one of the fastest growing fuels in the world, because of its safety, convenience, cleanliness and high efficiency. With the development of China's LNG shipping market not only the security of China's LNG import and export projects can be strengthened, but also China's energy consumption structure can be improved, the ecological environment can be protected, and the sustained and coordinated development of China's economy can be promoted.Based on the coverage of marine insurance, this paper summarizes the possible risks of LNG shipping in the covered area by reviewing some reference, and based on the risk analysis of LNG shipping process learned from previous quantitative research, the Fuzzy-AHP risk evaluation model is established.Matlab is used to determine the weight of each risk index, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation mathematical model is used to establish the membership function to construct a fuzzy matrix to adjust the shipping insurance rate of LNG shipping. In addition, this paper explores the rates, compensation limits, and insurance periods in the insurance plan, and in combination with insurance practice,it is recommended that for LNG shipping,in addition to insurance for hull and marine cargo transportation insurance,it is recommended to insure the general additional risk of risk leakage according to the actual risk of leakage. At the same time, according to the political situation of the route and the starting port, consider the special additional insurance for marine insurance and marine war risk insurance. On this basis, the Kosti Island project is taken as an example to verify the analysis of the risk of LNG shipping and the reasonable adjustment of insurance rate,in which the risk of LNG shipping from Australia to China is analyzed.
