The Fangyan Scenic Area,located in Yongkang City,Zhejiang Province,has accumulated a profound cultural heritage on the natural foundation of the Danxia hills.It shows a strong regi onal character in the cultural landscape,with the history represented by Hu Gong.The unique culture that the characters have raised,as the main line of cultural landscape development,has formed a unique cultural landscape development system.The study of its cultural landscape hi-story can show the complete process of the interaction between regional culture and natural res-ources of the scenic area.The resource protection and future development of the scenic spot o f the other rock and other similar regional cultures have certain reference value..This paper attempts to study the cultural landscape of Fangyan Scenic Area from the persective of historical changes.Firstly,through the study of relevant academic research,field research,visit investigation and other means to study the cultural landscape change factors of Fangyan scenic spots,including the natural foundation of the Fangyan cultural landscape represented by geological features,climate,hydrology,soil and vegetation.And humanistic motivations represented by culture,ideology,and crowd activities.Secondly,the historical literature is combed,and the cultural landscape resources of each other’s rock culture landscape history are summarized.The geographical location,historical evolution,landscape content and landscape status of the representative cultural landscape of the scenic area are discussed in detail.In the end,based on the previous results,the Fangyan Scenic Area was divided into three historical periods from the Three Kingdoms to the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdomsy,the Song and Yuan Dynasties,the Middle Ming to the Qing Dynasty,the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,and the founding of New China.The factors of nature,economy and culture were adopted.The ho-rizontal entry point summarizes the development characteristics and spatial distribution of cultur-al landscapes in each period,thus revealing the inherent law of the development of Fangyan cultural landscape.The study has the following changes:During the period from the Three Kingdoms to Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdomsy,it was the period of the formation of the Fangyan cultural landscape,and the construction of the Bu-ddhist temple was the mainstream of the cultural landscape construction.During the Song and Yuan Dynasties,the development of Fangyan cultural landscape entered a prosperous period.Mainly due to the influence of cultural activities such as the germinati on of Hugong and the prosperity of the academy,the cultural landscape surrounding the construction of Buddhist culture,Hugong belief culture and the culture of the academy is very prosperous.From the middle of the Ming Dynasty to the middle of the Qing Dynasty,it was the mature period of the Fangyan cultural landscape,and the theme of cultural landscape construction changed greatly.Hugong’s belief culture dominated the development of cultural landscape during this period,and the scale of cultural landscape has been greatly expanded.From the end of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,it was the decline of the development of Fangyan cultural landscape.Affected by feudal exploitation and continuous war,the number of Fangyan cultural landscapes has dropped significantly,and cultural landscape construction activities have basically stagnated.Since the founding of New China,the cultural landscape has been rebuilt,the cultural landscape construction has been incorporated into the government’s unified protection plan,the cultural landscape has been re-excavated,and the district-style construction process has begun.The cultural landscape development of Fangyan Scenic Area has entered a new stage.
