Due to heavy traffic and the requirements of renovation expansion projects for open traffic time,early rut and oil flooding and other diseases often appear on the SMA asphalt pavement,which reduces the high temperature stability and Anti-Slip performance of the road surface.In order to improve the road performance of SMA asphalt pavement,starting from the concept of vibration viscosity reduction and drag reduction,this paper puts forward the SMA asphalt mixing vibration mixing technology.Combining the mixing theory and the propagation law of vibration wave,it puts forward the secondary cleaning effect of vibration on minerals and the enhancement of oil absorption rate of minerals,which enhances the adhesion between asphalt and minerals;the destruction effect of vibration on micelles and the improvement of uniformity of fillers enhance the stability of asphalt mortar;the increase of mixture fluidity optimizes energy consumption structure and reduces mechanical wear etc.On the basis of theoretical analysis,the influence of vibration parameters on SBS modified asphalt viscosity and the performance changes of asphalt materials after vibration are investigated based on WS-Z30 vibration table.The experimental results show that the vibration can reduce the viscosity of SBS modified asphalt of a high-viscosity asphalt,and with the increase of vibration acceleration,the viscosity reduction effect is better;the low frequency and high amplitude vibration mode is better;vibration viscosity reduction can be equivalent to temperature viscosity reduction,and with the increase of temperature the equivalent temperature is higher;after vibration,the viscosity of SBS modified asphalt is restored,and the segregation of SBS modified asphalt and asphalt slurry is improved.The test results provide a basis for improving oil absorption rate of mineral materials and optimizing energy consumption structure by vibration viscosity reduction.The experimental study on SMA asphalt mixture was carried out with a double horizontal shaft vibration mixer.The results show that with the increase of vibration frequency,the strength,high temperature stability and water stability of the mixture are gradually improved,and the damage energy of Marshall specimens is gradually increased.The pavement paved with vibration mixer has deeper structure depth,larger friction coefficient and better skid resistance.Through the above experiments,it is concluded that the vibration mixing process can improve the road performance of SMA asphalt mixture,which has engineering application value,and plays a certain reference value for the application of vibration stirring technology in asphalt mixture research. |
