Gravity retaining wall is a typical supporting structure,which has the advantages of simple construction,local material selection and good economic benefits.The safety of the retaining wall is closely related to the safety of the project.However,the design of the retaining wall for the gravity-inclined embankment is less detailed,and the calculation of the earth pressure acting on the retaining wall is not clear enough.When the stability analysis of the retaining wall is carried out,the traditional fixed value analysis method is often used.Engineering practice found that the safety factor calculated by some traditional retaining walls according to the traditional method meets the requirements of the specification,but it is unstable after being put into use.The reason is that the traditional method does not consider the randomness of the parameters in the retaining wall engineering,but sets it as a certain constant.Therefore,it is particularly important for the analysis of earth pressure and stability of gravity retaining embankment retaining wall.This paper takes the retaining wall of the highway construction of S323 from the Shuangmenkou to the Dengzhuang section of the provincial highway in Henan Province as the engineering background,It describes the general situation of the project and the design of the retaining wall of the gravity-type inclined embankment of K38+620~K38+700.After studying the earth pressure of gravity retaining wall calculation method and applicable conditions,retaining walls instability mechanism and engineering design.The earth pressure,anti-overturning and anti-sliding stability safety factor,base stress and wall stress index of the retaining wall are calculated by theoretical method.The results of the verification of the Lizheng retaining wall software were verified.The rationality of the preliminary design of the retaining wall was verified.Then using the finite element software,considering the initial ground stress of the foundation and the friction between the wall and the soil,a three-dimensional finite element model of the retaining wall is established,and the earth pressure,base stress and wall of the retaining wall are simulated.The body stress index and the soil pressure value are brought into the theoretical formula to calculate the safety factor of anti-overturning and anti-sliding stability of retaining wall.Then compare the relevant results with the theoretical calculation results,the differences in soil pressure and stability are analyzed.Furthermore,the influence law of the retaining wall physical property and the backfill material physical property on the earth pressure distribution law and size,anti-overturning and anti-sliding stability of the retaining wall are analyzed in turn.Finally,the influence of the variability of geotechnical parameters on the stability of retaining wall is fully considered,and the reliability analysis method is introduced into the stability analysis of gravity retaining wall.The Monte Carlo Latin hypercube sampling method and the response surface center composite design method are used to calculate the probability of the instability of the retaining wall to describe the stability of the retaining wall,and the sensitivity of each factor to the reliability of the retaining wall is obtained.The key factors of ground control are used to qualitatively and quantitatively describe the reliability of retaining wall.The results show that the analysis method is more realistic and practical for the analysis and evaluation of retaining wall stability,and has certain reference value in engineering design.
