In recent years,China's economic development has entered a new normal,and so has the development of railway freight.Mass transit,low cost,high speeding and environmental protection have gradually become the development requirements for the next generation of railway wagons.In this context,the structural analysis and research of the European standard truck frame,Y25 frame,provides reference for the development of China's express freight frame,and also provides the technical route for the design and analysis of similar welded truck frames.In this paper,the finite element model of the Y25 frame with weld bead is created,and the structural strength finite element simulation analysis of the Y25 frame is carried out by ANSYS software.Based on the finite element simulation analysis results of the structural strength,the Goodman fatigue limit diagram is used respectively.The fatigue stress and fatigue life of the metal base metal and weld of the Y25 frame were analyzed by the hot spot stress method,and the following results were obtained:The maximum Von_mises stress of the Y25 frame under the exceptional load condition is 298.742MPa,which is less than the allowable stress;The maximum Von_mises stress under the other simulated load condition of the Y25 frame is 228.101 MPa,which is less than Allowable stress.By checking the results of the simulation analysis,the Y25 frame meets the strength requirements.Based on the finite element simulation analysis results of the Y25 frame under simulated load conditions,the Goodman fatigue limit diagram is used to check the fatigue strength of the most dangerous point of the metal base material under each simulated load condition.The result indicates that the most dangerous point of the Y25 frame metal base material under each simulated load condition is within the framework of the Goodman fatigue limit diagram,indicating that the Y25 frame meets the strength requirements.According to the BS7608 standard,the sub-model technology and the hot spot stress method are used to calculate the fatigue cumulative damage of the most dangerous weld of the Y25 frame under simulated load conditions.The maximum cumulative damage of the Y25 frame weld under single working condition is 0.92,indicating that the Y25 frame can safely withstand 107 cycles of the corresponding load under the simulated load conditions without damage.The Y25 frame weld design meets the fatigue life requirements.
