Water-saving Landscape Design In The Northwest Arid Area

Waterscape can provide people with beautiful recreational space,and improve the environment.For arid areas in Northwest China,water can help environment obviously.But a large number of waterscape also lead to problems in the construction of urban landscape,such as ignoring regionalism,chaotic waterscape,backward water treatment.and pursuit of large water,water freezing in winter.Based on the domestic and foreign water-saving landscape in arid areas,through practical investigation,comparative data analysis,comparative literature analysis,multi-discipline analysis,considering the natural environment and humanitarian environment,propose water-saving landscape strategy in the use of drought tolerant plants,rain and snow,recycled water,efficient irrigation and inherit the traditional water-saving technology.This paper puts forward the water-saving landscape strategy of Karez novelty.
