Research Of Urban Railway Brownfield Landscape Renewal

With the rapid development of urbanization and railway construction technology,many cities'railways have been abandoned because of the expansion of the city,low operating force and industrial land relocation and so on,fading out of sight of people.The railway brownfield has become the gray space separating the urban land and exacerbating the deterioration of the living environment and disturbing the residents' daily life.On July 1,2014,the section of Jing-Zhang Railway stopped operation.Now the railway with 100-year history has being fallen into a state of neglect which seriously influences city scene.2022 Winter Olympics will be held,which requests higher urban environment improvement of Zhangjiakou.Firstly,this following article analyzed related concepts about railway brownfield,and explained the relevant theoretical basis.Combining the present research progress,the author summarized the problem of railway brownfield landscape renewal in China.Secondly,through the analysis of the domestic and foreign classical relevant projects,the article put forward the key points and strategies about railway brownfield landscape renewal.Then the author focused on the Jing-Zhang Railway abandoned land in Zhangjiakou as the research object and analyzed current situation based on field research.Finally the author explored the typical strategies and methods for landscape renovation of abandoned railway and did landscape planning and design of railway land and land along the line.Trying to build a linear landscape space which can stimulate the city potential,the author made it as a railway corridor demonstrating the history.Then the waste land along the railway would be replaced and citizens would be more energetic.The green ecological network of Zhangjiakou would be further improved.
