Study On The Dwelling Regeneration Strategy In The Place Of Spirit Perspective

China has formed different forms of traditional dwellings in its long historical development.With the change of social environment,imbalance gradually emerges between people's housing needs and the traditional dwellings in their spontaneous evolution.It leads to the progressive decline of traditional dwellings in their disorderly development and the gradual disappearance of the place spirit of the dwellings.Those dilapidated dwellings are faced with the embarrassment of what and how they are going to serve-demolished or rebuilt.How to preserve the spirit of place in the dwelling culture and how to revitalize the dwelling resources are the main issues discussed in this article.On the other hand,with the acceleration of urbanization in China,urban residents are faced with problems such as crowded living spaces,deteriorating urban environment,and lack of a sense of belonging to their homes.Therefore,urban residents began to escape the alienation of the city and yearned for the rural life with the spirit of the homeland.The emergence of village homestay fills this gap in time,not only to meet the needs of people to feel nature and experience regional culture,but also to preserve the spirit of place of the regional culture,which promotes the regeneration of dwelling resources.This article takes the homestay design as the object to discuss,regarding the regeneration of dwellings as the main line,guided by the theory of place spirit in phenomenology to conduct the analysis and research by the methods of field investigation,induction and summarization.It tries to use the theory of place spirit to prove the strategy of dwelling regeneration.In order to protect,inherit and revitalize the dwelling culture,it applies the research results to the homestay design case of Tianbao Village in Baihe County of Ankang.
