Research On City Landscape System Of Ancient Ningbo

City landscape system is the combination of natural environment,artificial nature and humanistic connotation within a certain region of inhabitation.Ningbo is located in the southeast of Yangtze Plain,the intersection of Yao River,Fenghua River and Yong River,facing the East China Sea its east.It is an important port city and historical and cultural city in the southeast China.Ningbo has a thriving economy and advantageous natural condition since ancient times.Add to its unaltered site location for thousand years,the relationship between the development of traditional city and its landscape system can be clearly revealed.Based on the theory of Shanshui city and the sciences of human settlement,integrating the research achievement of multiple disciplines,namely the historical geography,archaeology,urban planning and other related disciplines,this paper researches on the formation and development of the landscape system of ancient Ningbo city from the perspective of Landscape Architecture,and analyzes the interaction between city and natural environment,to further provide reference for the development of contemporary cities.This paper analyzes the landscape system of ancient Ningbo city from the following five aspects:(1)A brief introduction to the general situation of Ningbo city and its historical transitions,understanding the rise and development of Ningbo city from the historical perspective.(2)Analyzing the landscape system composition of ancient Ningbo city from four aspects,listed as the original environment,the artificial water system,the farmland construction and the landscape architecture.(3)Analyzing the view system of ancient Ningbo city.(4)Summarizing the impact of Ningbo urban landscape system on urban development.(5)Analyzing the development of contemporary Ningbo City,and summing up with the enlightenment from the construction of landscape system of ancient Ningbo to provide a reference for future urban development.
