A Exploratory Design Of Beach Landscape Based On Experiential Oriented Activity

With the rapid development of economy,the pattern of people's consumption habit has changed a lot,customers would perfer the new type of consumption model of which they can get feedback in time.Under this circumstance,experiential activities have become popular where the participants can experience interactive activities.At the same time,as the successive development of coastal region in cities,a large number of beaches have been built rashly with low quality of work.They not only can't meet the people's aesthetic needs visually,but also cause a lot of ecological and environmental issues.Therefore,based on the pattern of natural tide,the beach should be designed into sections where different experimental interactive activities take place.And it should change from traditional single static model into new multiple interactive experimental model and then it will improve the attractions of beach park,boost the development of cities,and promote the social progress and the ecological environment.This paper consists of three parts:theoretical review,related cases analysis and practical design.The first part of this study is to state the background,purpose,meaning,content and methods of this paper.Then,to define the concepts of beach,coastal landscape and experiential activities.After that,this paper expatiates on the related theories that developed both in China and abroad.And based on that,the author conducts a study on the design of the beach landscape with experiential activity.The second part of the paper selects three foreign design cases and two domestic design cases for analyses.Each case has its own characteristics providing a different idea and reference.Finally,this paper takes Dongpozi Beach Park in Yantai as an example to explore new possibilities for the design of seaside landscape.
