With the rapid development of the national economy, the number of development and construction projects is increasing, and the problem of soil erosion caused by this is also becoming more and more serious.Soil and water conservation monitoring is an indispensable part of development and construction projects, and also the basis of soil and water conservation work. However,at present,in the soil and water conservation monitoring of development and construction projects, there are problems in which the monitoring methods and techniques are imperfect, resulting in inaccurate monitoring results and insufficient efficiency. How to quickly and accurately monitor soil and water conservation and obtain effective data is one of the key issues that need to be solved in soil and water conservation monitoring at this stage. The UAV remote sensing technology has achieved rapid development since 2011.It has the characteristics of high precision, strong timeliness and flexibility, and has achieved certain effects in various industries. It is of practical significance and value to apply UAV remote sensing technology to soil and water conservation monitoring. This paper takes two development and construction projects in Changping District of Beijing as the research object, and uses the drone to shoot two plots and one pile of soil. The vertical photography and tilt photography are used for the piled soil area.Orthographic images and 3D models are obtained by processing images by software, and monitoring related data is obtained for image processing. The results are as follows:(1)According to the image taken by the drone, this paper uses Agisoft metashape,ContextCapture Center Master to generate the orthophoto and 3D model of the project area, and obtains the ground resolution of plot A,plot B and temporary soil area of 0.05m.Digital orthophotos are also produced, and a three-dimensional model of oblique photography is produced for the soil area. After the accuracy verification, the object point error of the orthophoto image is less than 0.2m,and the elevation point error of the three-dimensional model is less than 0.5m.(2)Through the orthophoto, the disturbed land area, soil and water conservation measures of each block can be extracted accurately and accurately and the compliance can be judged.Among them, the water and soil conservation measures are compared with the actual measurement, and the accuracy meets the requirements of more than 95%of the monitoring procedures. The accuracy of the 3D model based on vertical photography is 94.32%,the accuracy of the 3D model based on tilt photography is 98.42%and the restoration of the study area is more accurate. Both models have achieved more than 90%accuracy required by the monitoring procedures. It proves the feasibility and convenience of the application of drones in soil and water conservation monitoring of development and construction projects.
