Construction Of Traceability System For Timber Logistics Based On RFID In Owendo Port

Owendo Port is located in the northwestern coastal estuary of Gabon,bordering on the east side of the Atlantic,loading and unloading equipment have a variety of shore cranes,car cranes,loading machines,barges and tugs,which the maximum power of the tug is only 736 kW,low efficiency.At the same time,the external traffic condition of Owendo port is poor,the transportation infrastructure is not perfect,the efficiency of timber transportation to port area is low.Through the research on the present situation of the export timber logistics of Owendo port,we found that there are currently the following three problems:first,the export of Gabon's timber logistics is long,leading to the high cost of intermediate links,logistics efficiency is low;Secondly,there is information partition between different subjects,which leads to no traceability,and when problems occur,it is easy to show the situation of mutual prevarication;The port hardware equipment is backward,the infrastructure is old,the management mode of the timber logistics needs to be innovated urgently.Therefore,taking Owendo port as an example,this paper takes the export timber logistics as the research object,on the basis of document collation and field investigation,this paper analyzes the present situation and problems of the management of the timber logistics from the aspects of timber export trade scale,variety,business process,management policy and so on,using the process analysis method,To construct the traceability management system of Owendo Port timber logistics based on RFID,this paper analyzes the components,functions and hardware of the system,and uses the methods of circuit simulation analysis,management mode cost comparison and information entropy risk analysis to determine the operation mode of the Owendo timber logistics retrospective management system,compare the construction cost,The risk status before and after the system implementation is expected to provide decision support for improving the management quality and management efficiency of Owendo timber logistics.To address the efficiency of wood logistics management in the Owendo port of Gabon,in this paper,through reference to domestic and foreign achievements,the first study of RFID technology applications,the first construction of the timber logistics traceability system,and through traceability system to eliminate the timber logistics information islands,the flow through the slow,in the case of problems can be quickly traced back,Distinguish the main responsibility,prevent the cost loss caused by shifting,achieve the goal of reducing transaction cost and logistics cost,so as to improve the management level of timber logistics in Owendo Port of Gabon and to conform to international standards.The practical effect of traceability system of wood logistics is obvious through system operation guarantee.
