This project is based on a subproject of the national energy administration, and aims to apply micro gas turbine to the civil building micro energy network project as a heat/electric power source. In this paper, the feasibility of the application of micro gas turbine as the main energy in the cogeneration project is discussed from three aspects:the selection of equipment, the design of energy supply and the economic analysis of the project.1.The method that how to determine the power of the micro gas turbine by heat determination or electricity determination, and select the heat recovery equipment according to the type of the selected units and related technical requirements was put forward.2.It was proved that the power supply reliability and the operation stability of the micro gas turbine, but because of the characteristics of the combined application of cogeneration power supply and the restriction of the relevant standards,it should not be used as the emergency power supply.3.That the micro gas turbine can be used as the main power supply in the isolated state was explained.4.The energy supply mode of micro gas turbine and some of the traditional energy supply were analyzed from the the economic angle. The conclusion that although the former is green and efficient energy but has no cost advantage and efficiency than micro internal combustion engine, only suitable for the state without traditional energy supply was gotten.5.Based on the engineering design case, two kinds of operation plan were put forward and the cost of them are calculated. The paper thinks that the micro gas turbine as the main energy used by heat recovery measures is still not the best economic plan.
