Research On Urban Design Strategy Of Old Urban Area Background Of City Betterment

After the reform and opening up,China's lots of cities staged a miracle of rapid urban expansion and large population agglomeration.At the same time,there were many and multi-level contradictions.In 2015,Central City Work Conference proposed to effectively resolve various urban diseases,to revitalize stocks,improve quality,and transform urban development patterns.In 2016,the national “City betterment and Ecological Restoration” work conference was held in Sanya,clarifying that city betterment and ecological restoration is a new urban design concept urban construction renewal method proposed by the period of urban development from extensional expansion to connotative development,and provides guidance to current update of the urban built-up area.This paper takes the status quo as the guide,and draws out the urban design strategy research of the old city under the background of city betterment.It's takes city betterment as an effective means to solve urban problems,and enhances the vitality and competitiveness of the old urban area through the application of city betterment theory.Based on the analysis and interpretation of the current situation of the old urban area,the article proposes an urban design strategy to shape the dynamic public space,highlight the regional cultural characteristics,sculpt the public service facilities,and strengthen the road traffic system.The paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter One,introduction.Clarify the research object,content,meaning and purpose of this paper,sort out the research methods and framework,and lay the foundation for the following in-depth research.The second chapter is a summary of relevant theories and research at nation and abroad.Firstly,the relevant concepts of city betterment are interpreted,the relevant theories of city betterment and their development process are sorted out,and the relationship between urban repair and urban design is sorted out.The third chapter analyzes the status quo of the old city under the background of urban repair.According to the results of the questionnaire and the author's personal experience,the status quo of the urban old city is obtained,and it is pointed out that in the context of urban repair,urban renewal needs to change ideas.The fourth chapter is the construction of urban design strategy in the old urban area under the background of city betterment.Formulate corresponding urban design strategies: shape vital public spaces,highlight regional cultural characteristics,sculpt public service facilities,and strengthen road traffic systems.The fifth chapter is the A5 neighborhood partial adjustment project of Changshou Community in Putuo District of Shanghai and the detailed planning of Shashi Port.These two projects apply the urban design strategy mentioned in the previous project to the actual project,and verify the city in reverse.The sixth chapter,the conclusion.Summarize the full text and summarize the urban design strategy of the old urban area,and put forward the future research direction.
