There are a large number of solid rocket motor in the ship's magazine,which probably are auto-ignited due to some unexpected factors.The gas ejected from the nozzle contains a large amount of combustibles,and secondary combustion occurs during the mixing with the air in the magazine.Due to the extremely short time,some high-temperature combustibles that are not completely burned during the secondary combustion process continue to be mixed with air.If the concentration is within the explosive concentration range,explosion is likely to occur,which seriously affects the safety of the ship.It is of realistic and practical significance to study the explosion process of solid rocket motor exhausted gas in a confined big space.The solid rocket motor gas is mainly composed of a gas of five components of hydrogen,carbon monoxide,carbon dioxide,water vapor and nitrogen.It can be seen that the presence of carbon dioxide,water vapor and nitrogen in the gas affects the explosion of hydrogen and carbon monoxide in a confined space.Therefore,the main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Calculate the lower limit of explosive concentration,the upper limit of explosion concentration and the explosion risk of hydrogen,carbon monoxide and a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide,and analyze the effects of carbon dioxide,water vapor and nitrogen on the lower limit of explosive concentration,the upper limit of explosion concentration and the explosion risk.(2)Using CHEMKIN to simulate the explosion process of hydrogen,carbon monoxide and a mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide,calculate the pressure,temperature,heat release,heat release rate per unit time and free radical concentration with time,analyze the impac of carbon dioxide,water vapor and nitrogen.(3)Using FLUENT software,calculate the flow field with chemical reaction,find out the area where the explosion may occur,and analyze the variation law of the overpressure generated by the explosion in space.The paper achieved the following results,(1)the lower limit of explosion concentration,the upper limit of explosion concentration and the explosion risk are obtained,and the effects of carbon dioxide,water vapor and nitrogen on the lower limit of explosion concentration,the upper limit of explosion concentration and the explosion risk are obtained;(2)The effects of carbon dioxide,water vapor and nitrogen on the explosion pressure,explosion temperature,heat release rate and free radical concentration with time were obtained.(3)find out the area where the explosion may occur in the flow field,and calculate the overpressure generated by the explosion.The law of overpressure change in the flow field.
