Research On Speed Limit Lifting Technology Of Urban Main Road

Traffic congestion is one of the main problems of urban traffic at present.Speed-up of main roads is conducive to improving the speed of roads,reducing the pressure of urban traffic congestion.The formulation of speed-raising standard needs to be integrated with the road characteristics,traffic characteristics and speed management mode of the main road.This paper takes Chongqing City Main Road as the research object,combines the design of urban main road with the actual traffic operation and the demand of future traffic management,chooses representative main road,collects the corresponding floating car data,and carries out the following research:(1)By comparing the influence of speed management mode on the operating speed,the unmonitored road section is regarded as the general speed limiting road section,while the monitored road section is regarded as the compulsory speed limiting road section.A speed prediction model based on the speed limiting management mode is established,which can be used to predict the potential increase and appreciation of the operating speed of the urban main road.(2)By analyzing the influence of the setting of intersections,entrances and central dividers on the running speed,the reduction coefficient of the running speed of the density of intersections,entrances and central dividers on the density of urban arterial roads is established;By analyzing the relationship between the characteristic index of running speed and the linear and standard value of speed limit of main road,a model of running speed of main road based on linear condition and standard value of speed limit is established.(3)Based on the speed analysis of straight road section,the maximum speed limit value of urban main road speed-up was determined,and the speed limit promotion standard of urban main road was determined by combining the speed prediction based on linear condition and the existing speed limit standard value and the predicted speed value of urban main road operation speed obtained by correction.(4)The implementation scheme of speed limit promotion in urban main road is established,the speed limit sections are divided,the recommended values of the minimum speed limit area and the speed limit transition area and the safety requirements for speed increase are put forward.The related research on the raising of speed limit standard of urban main road provides reference for the raising method and scheme of urban main road,andprovides technical support for improving the traffic efficiency of urban main road.
