Based On The New Rural Construction Concept Of Northern Residential Besign

As the new rural construction continues,the Chinese government has put in a large amount of capital to improve the living environment of the countryside,and improve the living standards of farmers.However,due to lack of professional guidance,issues like disharmony with the environment as well as monotonous styles emerge in the process of folk residence construction.It is in urgent need of professional guidance in the process of transforming the folk residence and improving the overall environmental quality under the premise of respecting the local customs and traditions.Based on an investigation and study of traditional folk residence in the northern China,this paper analyzes the courtyard characteristics and architectural culture characteristics of the traditional folk residence in the northern China,and summarizes the design principles of the northern folk residence under the guidance of the new rural construction concept.Taking Yongquan Village in Weixian County,Zhangjiakou City as an example,the current situation and characteristics of folk residence are analyzed.The courtyard pattern of folk residence and living space in Yongquan Village are designed to increase the function and beauty of the folk residence.This paper explores a method that can not only meet the farmers’ requirements for the modern lifestyle but also can inherit the architectural style of the traditional folk residence,and transform and update the residence,trying to provide reference for the new rural construction in the future.
