Inside the automobile,all kinds of pipelines such,as gas and liquid transport carriers,play a decisive role in ensuring the normal operation of the automobile.Thermoplastic pipes in automobile piping system are various in number,type,length and shape.The label on the surface of the pipe,as an important symbol in the process of storage and assembly,directly affects the later storage,management and application.The efficiency and quality of the label are important for improving the assembly speed and accuracy of the piping system.Most of the traditional labeling methods are completed manually,with low production efficiency,poor consistency,and difficult to ensure the quality of labeling.Therefore,it is of great engineering practical value to study an automatic labeling system with simple operation,compact structure,strong adaptability and meeting the needs of automobile pipeline production industry.In this paper,a folding labeling equipment was developed according to the labeling production requirements of a thermoplastic pipe manufacturer.The specific research contents are as follows:First of all,on the basis of analyzing the production demand of labeling,the applicable scope,technological process and related technical parameters of the equipment are determined,and the overall structure and control scheme of the labeling machine are designed.Secondly,the paper analyzes and designs the bid-supplying mechanism,bid-sucking and bid-closing mechanism,positioning mechanism and other auxiliary mechanisms of the labeling machine.This paper presents a bid-closing device with adaptive adjustment function,which can automatically adjust the bid-pressing position according to the change of pipe diameter,and can complete the labeling production of thermoplastic pipe fittings with a pipe diameter of 5-20 mm without changing tooling.Thirdly,the ANSYS Workbench simulation software is used to conduct static simulation and modal simulation analysis of the labelling machine's working platform.On the one hand,the structural strength is guaranteed within the allowable range;on the other hand,the natural frequency of the main parts can effectively avoid the working frequency of the equipment to prevent resonance.Finally,after completing the design,processing and assembly of each component,the work order of each component was formulated.PLC was used to write the control program of the equipment to make each component coordinate the action and realize the folding and labeling.The actual production process shows that the average time for the equipment to complete a labeling is less than 2.5 seconds,and the labeling error is within 0.3mm.The efficiency and quality of labeling are better than manual labeling and meet the design requirements.
