The problem of water resources is one of the most severe test area of our country especially in the central and western arid mountain area.Rainwater collection and utilization is a research hotspot in recent years,it is an effective way to solve the water shortage problem in arid areas.Mountain environment has unique spatial characteristics and environmental landscape features*Its special natural environment and complex terrain lead to particularity and complexity of rainwater collection and utilization.It is a major task for us to focus on how to centralize rainfall resources and integrate them into the green space to complete the ecological construction of the ecological environment.Based on the review of previous studies,first of all,the basic research is the background of drought environment mountain topography,soil conditions,vegetation and other natural conditions,and then rebuilding landform combined with the traditional agricultural wisdom as well as foreign rainwater harvesting technology,at the same time,reasonable application of ecological forest,zonal vegetation,and drought tolerant plant group,through the site analysis of hydrological conditions,surface runoff,flow velocity and catchment area,reasonable division of the site,the landscape shape and finally focus on the regional environment.According to inductive research,under the thinking of rainwater collection and utilization in arid zone,the basic procedure and content of mountain landscape design is derived,and to Lanzhou District Service Center Group surrounding mountain landscape as an example,detailed description of the specific landscape design process.(1)On the basis of earthwork balance,the terrain of the site is reconstructed reasonably.(2)Set up rainwater collection and utilization system,analysis the new surface runoff and catchment after the terrain transformation.Arrange rainwater harvesting facilities in the catchment area and make some landscape transformation.(3)Stress the effect of plant landscape on the ecological pattern of mountainous area,analysis the benefits of slope protection and landscape,use native plants and drought tolerant plants reasonably.(4)Design path space according to terrain and determine the appropriate functional zoning.Improve the tourism function on the wiring and space sequence,at the same time,to further enrich the tourist sightseeing experience.
