With the development of the second industrial revolution,Global industrial,economic and population has developed rapidly.the infinite rise of human desires and the immoderate lifestyle,lead to world climate face more and more serious problem.More carbon emissions produce,and more damage of the earth ozone layer,global catastrophic climate change often happens,has serious harm to the environment and human health.Low-carbon is put forward at the time of global climate change.After global climate conference in Copenhagen in 2009,more and more Chinese realized that what Low-carbon is,along with government of china promotes low-carbon lifestyle,low-carbon has gradually penetrate with everything in our life.Undoubtedly,low-carbon landscape is the way to ease the climate crisis,it fit the demand of sustainable development of landscape construction,and will become a new direction for landscape construction in future.This paper has expounded what Low-carbon is and why are we study it,analyzed the principles of Low-carbon landscape design from how to solid carbon library;reduce carbon consumption;increase carbon sinks and Controlling carbon emissions,after that explained the design method in topographical?water?plant?architectural and small garden ornaments.At last introduce that the designers and managers of Lian shi hu landscape project,how to use low-carbon landscape to Realizing the social benefit and ecological benefit in three years.On the other hand we will find out the deficiency in this project,analysis the reason,and use the principle of low carbon garden to solve the problem.In a word,This article give the theory of low-carbon landscape design and basis for the future of low carbon construction.In order to use landscape reduce carbon consumption,increase carbon sinks achieve the goal of low carbon city.
