Incubator is a new type of economic organization which provides the necessary infrastructure and a series of supportive integrated services for small start-ups or teams.Its interior design is classified as office space.As a representative type of new office space,incubator industry also has its own development track and operation mode.But the "new" here is not a new one,but a new one in the near future.In fact,incubators were born as early as the last century.The first incubator in the world was founded in New York,USA,in 1959.Operators divided the building into small units,rented them to small businesses at lower prices,and provided soft services such as financing and consultation.Inspired by this,we call this business model Incubator.After more than 50 years of development,a relatively complete incubation industry chain headed by famous incubators such as TechStars and Y-Combinator has been formed globally.It has achieved stable and considerable economic benefits and successfully helped thousands of entrepreneurship teams grow up.In China,the first incubator was the Wuhan Donghu New Technology Venture Center established in 1987.Although it was not too late to start,due to the impact of the environment,the incubator did not form a large-scale and perfect industrial chain in China before.The tepid incubator industry has been stumbling for nearly 30 years,and its development until an opportunity arises.Obviously,this opportunity is:in September 2014,Premier Li Keqiang put forward the call of "mass entrepreneurship,innovation" and re-activated the incubator industry.Subsequently,in 2015 and 2016,the number of domestic incubators grew rapidly,and the incubator industry became "prosperous".The excessive prosperity under the policy is obviously temporary.Since 2017,M&A cases such as creating space and incubators have occurred frequently.The domestic incubator industry has entered a stage of high-quality development from high-speed development.It is still some time before Chinese incubators blossom in an all-round way.As a space type with strong sensitivity to the times,office space shows progressive expansion at the two levels of function and behavior.With the emergence of new technologies,new concepts,new office models,and even new industries,the office industry and its supporting space have been changing,and the office model has also been changing.Therefore,the type of office space has been the focus of relevant research since its birth.In the post-interconnection era with highly developed network,the development of office space has reached a zero-point.At this zero point,incubator office space is at the front of development,which represents a direction of future office space development,although not the only direction,but it has obvious directivity.In the current era,the incubator office space in order to adapt to its multiple types and industry changes,its interior design also tends to be more systematic and professional.Although the incubator industry has been prosperous in recent years,the rapid development of the incubator industry does not mean that the office space matched with it can conform to the pace of the development of the industry.The interior design of the incubator office space also needs professional interior design methods and design principles to match the industry model and type.On the one hand,while making gratifying achievements,on the other hand,the multilevel progress of this"imported product" in China shows the fatigue of "acclimatization".In its interior design,there are some problems,such as the inefficient use of space,the lack of organic combination,the homogeneity of internal space functions and so on.The most obvious manifestation is that design thinking stays on the surface of visual senses and is limited in the inherent organizational model.It can not meet the needs of incubator business for its interior space design,ignoring the specific attributes of incubator itself,resulting in the vast majority of incubator office space interior design in China are attached to the same type of office space,with thousands of people on one side.As a product of politics and commerce,the interior design of incubator office space has attracted much attention.The development of incubator industry in recent years is a flash in the pan?Or is it a temporary transitional stage with Chinese characteristics,or is there a clearer growth path?These are also questions that designers should think about.The purpose of this paper is to sort out the development track of incubator office space,analyze the specific attributes of incubator itself,so as to find out the design principles suitable for incubator office space interior design,in order to get rid of the shackles of current interior design with its supporting office space,get out of the long-term construction design errors,and meet the needs of the times of the development of the office industry.
