The biomass energy in China is abundant,and the amount.is enormous.Although there is a fast development of biomass making machine in China,the problems of high energy consumption,quick wear of molds and so on are a little serious.Coupled with the advantages of piston extruder machines and die and roller briquette machines,external meshed plunger-type biomass pellet molding equipment was designed to resolve the questions above.The meshing track of the molding plunger ram and ring die hole with motion module of SolidWorks was plotted.The molding principle of the machine was analyzed,and the mechanical model of material in the working was built.The pressure and fluxion of material in the entrance of different ring die hole was analyzed on the basis of the drawing.The single plunger molding testing machine was designed to test the relation with different maize straw of moisture content and molding die with different length-diameter ratio.The conclusion was inferred:when the maize straw of moisture content is about 11%and the molding length-diameter ratio is 5,the effect of molding is the best.The density of the molding pellet is 0.97g/cm3,which satisfied the norm of molding pellet,and the corresponding pressure is 82.5MPa.The key components of external meshed plunger-type biomass maker was improvement designed on the basis of the theoretical analysis and the results of experiment of the single plunger molding testing.The ring die and axle was FEA by the ANSYS workbench.The results testified that the design of ring die and axle was rational.The design principle of ring die hole was ascertained by the experiment of prototype.The minimum energy consumption is 37.5kw ' h/t got by the molding equipment.
