With further promotion of the country's "Going out" strategy and the "One Belt,One Road" cooperation initiative,in recent years,China's industrial,agricultural,and energy infrastructure EPC projects etc.fields have greatly stepped out of the country,and the overseas market has become increasingly prominent.The report of the 17 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that "Bring in" and "Going out" should be fully combined.Expanding the open field,optimizing the open structure,improving the quality of openness,improving internal and external linkages,achieving mutual benefit and win-win result,and which finally achieves a new advantage in participating in international economic cooperation and competition under the conditions of economic globalization.As the largest economy entity in Southeast Asia,Indonesia has experienced rapid economic development in recent years.The construction and development of electric power infrastructure has been listed as the top priority of the national economic development plan by the Indonesian government.Indonesia has a large amount of natural resources such as coal,oil and natural gas.The coal reserves amounted to 104.8 billion tons,and the total natural gas reserves were 150.39tscf(Trillion Standard Cube Feet),ranking third in the Asia-Pacific region,accounting for 1.5% of the world's total reserves.As the earliest state-owned electric power design and electric power engineering EPC contractor in China,DB Electric Power Company began to set foot in the Indonesian market to start the power market development in 2012,but it has had little effect so far.The paper takes DB Company Indonesian power market development strategy as the research object,and combines the DB Company's Indonesian market development experience and the current Indonesian electric power field environment in recent years,and elaborates on the problems that the company has faced in the development of the Indonesian market for many years,such as lack of overseas EPC projects performance experiences,weakness of investment and financing capabilities and the scarcity of good project resources,the difficulty in controlling the bidding quotation level,the identification and prevention of risks are not in place.These problems have greatly affected the development of DB Company in the Indonesian power market and the company's long-term strategic deployment.After research and analysis,the main reasons for the problems that DB Company has faced in Indonesian power market development are mainly the irregular bidding of the owners,the vicious competition,the insufficient input of market development resources,and the lack of awareness of risk management etc.In order to analyze the problems accurately existing in the development strategy of the DB Company's Indonesia market and find out the best solutions,the paper carries out qualitative analysis based on the Indonesian National Natural Resources,political and economic environment,Indonesia's electricity market and business environment,technical environment and other aspects,and then the SWOT analysis was used to summarize the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats,forming a SWOT matrix analysis.Based on these analyses,the paper puts forward six solutions: the classification of project resources to focus on tracking,Jointing development to realize the sharing of interest risks,vigorously developing PPP projects,depth development of agency relationships to reserve new energy project resources and Implementing full process risk management.Meanwhile,correspondingly measures are put forward such as increasing resources input,attaching importance to international talent training,strengthening external communication links and expanding the ability of company resources integration,and integrating risk management into marketing process.These strategies and safeguard measures will fundamentally solve the market development problems of DB Company in the Indonesian electricity market,and thus provide DB Company with a foothold in the Indonesian market and effective marketing guide to action for other Southeast Asian markets.
